Itinerary: 7:00 AM Load bus at Bethel Baptist Church-1004 Yorktown Road, Yorktown, VA 23693, Visit Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello for a guided tour of the house and free time to walk around the property exploring the gardens and exhibits. The 45-minute guided experience includes first floor spaces in Thomas Jefferson’s home, the West Lawn, and the South Wing. You’ll learn about Jefferson and his vision for America, the realities of slavery on the Monticello plantation, and the mountaintop’s iconic architecture. 12:30 PM Lunch at Michie Tavern, 2 PM Visit Carter Mountain, 4 PM Depart for return trip home, 6 PM Arrive back to Bethel Baptist Church.
